SUMMARY: Management Business Solutions is seeking a Maintenance Operations Supervisor for its client in Bettendorf, IA. The person will be responsible for ensuring efficient metal production, focusing on safety, quality, and lean manufacturing principles.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintain a safe work environment.
- Lead safety discussions and reviews.
- Manage team performance for quantity, quality, and safety.
- Provide training, coaching, and mentoring.
- Allocate and prioritize tasks based on business needs.
- Adjust crew schedules for planned and unplanned situations.
- Apply root cause analysis and problem-solving techniques.
- Manage equipment operations for long-term viability.
- Support lean manufacturing and waste elimination.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- 3 years of experience in maintenance.
- 2 years of supervisory experience preferably in the manufacturing industry.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.
- Working in a union environment is preferred.
