SUMMARY: Management Business Solutions is seeking a Medical Assistant for its client in the Newark, OH area. This individual would be responsible for patient care along with assisting providers and staff.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Provide patient care in a physician office setting, assisting providers and staff in coordinating patient care.

· Serve as a primary liaison between patients, families, staff, and providers.

· Perform clinical tasks such as taking vital signs, preparing patients for exams, and assisting with procedures.

· Handle administrative tasks including scheduling appointments, managing patient records, and processing insurance forms.

· Assist in maintaining a clean and organized work environment, ensuring medical supplies are stocked and equipment is functional.

· Utilize EPIC EMR for efficient patient record management.

QUALIFICATIONS:

· High school diploma or equivalent.

· Certified Medical Assistant through appropriate board (e.g., American Association of Medical Assistants).

· Registered through appropriate board (e.g., The American Registry of Medical Assistants).

· 1 years of experience desired.

· Open to candidates with healthcare experience who can be trained on the job and obtain certification within 6 months.

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

· Proficiency in using electronic medical records (EMR) systems, preferably EPIC.

· Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

· Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
