Our healthcare facility is looking for a Medical Assistant (MA) to join our team. At Manassas Pediatrics, the MA helps to fulfill the care requirements of our patients. Under the direction of the provider, the successful candidate will work within their entire scope of practice. The MA will be fully accountable for ensuring that the utmost in competent care and safety is consistently delivered to all patients. The candidate should be able to travel between offices located in Gainesville and Manassas. This opportunity awaits a motivated and ambitious professional with pediatric experience.

MA responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Take vital signs (temperature, blood pressure, pulse) on pediatric patients
• Prepare and administer vaccines
• Administer medications
• Return triage calls
• Collect samples and perform lab test
• Restock exam rooms
• Responsible for provider schedule, rooming sick and well appointments

MA qualifications and skills

• Pediatric experience a MUST
• Up to date first aid and CPR certification
• 2 years experience
• Willingness to work late day and 1-2 Saturday mornings
• Compassionate and friendly demeanor
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Must be able to travel between our Manassas and Gainesville offices
• Bilingual preferred; fluent in Spanish and English
