The omission of specific duties does not exclude them from the position.Provides consistent quality customer service at all times (by phone or in person), including in a fast-paced environment.Assist sales and marketing team with ongoing projects and research.Answer incoming calls from customers as needed, assisting them or routing calls appropriately.Takes walk-in/walk-up inquiries, as well as telephone and email inquiries. Assumes security of all equipment products, supplies, etc., within the facility to support special events.Responsible for complying with time frames for set-ups, operations and tear downs.Quotes prices and services using rate tables; figures discounts if applicable and makes other associated mathematical computations.Understands and follows oral and written communications. Communicates clearly and effectively, deals with customers/clients in a tactful and courteous manner. Performs other related work (including weather or other extreme emergency duties) as required.
SUPPLEMENTAL INFORMATION
Prior experience in customer service is desired.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Skill in handling multiple incoming calls accurately and courteouslyKnowledge of, and ability to apply good customer service skillsAbility to make accurate mathematical computations, including pricing conclusions using established guidelines and pricing structures.Ability to read, understand, and follow detailed instructions and proceduresDependable, prompt and present a neat appearanceAbility to handle numerous activities at the same timeAbility to communicate effectively, orally and in writing.Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with other departments of the County, agencies and the general public.Skill in the capacity to understand ideas, wants, facts, instructions, and to analyze them and formulate plans and instructions accordingly.
