Successful candidate must have strong accounting skills, excellent oral and written communication skills, and attention to detail. Candidate must also have the ability to work effectively in a team environment with attorneys and members of the accounting staff to meet client needs. Responsibilities may include processing accounts payable, cash receipts, billing and client intake, and providing excellent customer service. Ability to multi-task and experience with Microsoft
Office Suite (Excel, Word, and Outlook) required.
M-F 8:30am-5:30pm $19.23/hr
Must be able to pass all required background screening
The ideal candidate is a professional who possesses expertise in various aspects of financial record-keeping, analysis, and reporting. Their primary responsibility is to ensure that financial transactions are accurately recorded, documented, and reported in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, and accounting standards.
Key duties include:
Record financial transactions such as sales, purchases, receipts, and payments in accounting software or ledgers.
Reconcile bank statements, accounts receivable, and accounts payable to ensure that the recorded transactions match the actual financial activity.
Compile financial data and prepare financial statements such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
Analyze financial data to identify trends, discrepancies, and areas for improvement in financial performance.
Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal policies.
Assist auditors by providing documentation, explanations, and support during financial audits.
Provide financial advice and recommendations to management based on their analysis of financial data.
