Mancan Staffing is currently in search of a highly skilled MIG and TIG Welder to join a thriving organization located in Washington, PA.
The successful candidate will be responsible for on-site welding jobs, primarily working on 16-gauge steel. The shift for this position is from 5 am to 3 pm, with occasional Saturdays required.
The starting pay is $ per hour, depending on experience.
Responsibilities of the Welder :
- Utilize precision measuring tools to inspect grooves and angles.
- Maintain and repair equipment as needed.
- Perform MIG and TIG welding on parts in flat, vertical, and / or overhead positions.
- Interpret drawings and plans, executing work accordingly.
Requirements and Qualifications :
- High School Diploma.
- Ability to read blueprints.
- Proficiency in basic math.
- Basic understanding of electricity.
- Knowledge of metallurgy.
- Certification as a Welder.
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts with overtime, including Saturdays when required.
