“ BLOOM ” Internship Program Overview
Bloom is MANE’s internship initiative that provides students with valuable, hands-on industry experience while supporting our business needs. It’s designed to help interns develop their skills, knowledge, and network as they “bloom” into the professionals they aspire to be.

The Samples Lab Intern will work closely with the Process Optimization team to learn the laboratory support processes that support manufacturing. This internship will provide hands-on laboratory training and experience with the precursory steps to manufacturing flavors.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Retrieve, stage, accurately weigh and document ingredients used in liquid and pilot plant flavor batches.
- Help to support with direction of lead/supervisor with data entry for flavor pilot plant makes.
- Participate in inventory cycle counting and support of inventory needs in the sample lab
- Assisting with the material stock management in sample labs, according to order requirements, ensuring accurate paperwork and labeling
- Data entry and logging of flavor retains and storage of flavor retains.
- Learn flavor compounding and support flavor makes with oversight.
- Assist with special projects and initiatives
- Other duties in support of company objectives

- Computer experience, with emphasis on Microsoft Office and formulation software. SAP experience a plus.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Currently enrolled in a degree program in related area of study
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- May sit for long periods of time
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
- Bend, stoop and stand for extended periods of time
Bloom Program Details
- Duration: 10 weeks (starting early June through early August)
- Community: Join a cohort of interns, building friendships and a support network.
- Capstone Project: You’ll complete a capstone project that highlights your work and learnings, which you’ll present at the end of the program.
- Engagement: We’ll check in with you every two weeks, and there will be community-building activities to ensure a well-rounded and enjoyable experience.
