My client is a leader in its niche industry of carbon and graphite products. Their Tennessee plant, located Southwest of Nashville, is growing and evolving. They are seeking a MECHANICAL PLANT ENGINEER, who will lead the set up, design / specification of the automated processing equipment for their new and existing production lines with the support of the Technical Manager and other members of the production team.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Must have a BSME or another equivalent engineering degree.
• Must have 1 to 3 years of experience of hands-on process equipment experience. No High-Speed Robotics or Assembly Systems experience will be considered.
• Will consider entry-level mechanical engineers, but they must have had some form of real-world industrial experience via an Internship or CO-OP designing automated machinery for a specific manufacturing process.
• Experience working in a process-oriented manufacturing environment, ideally involving high temperatures like metals, ceramics, glass, and/or petrochemical are preferential.
• A solid understanding of computer programming and software development is required. Ability to mechanically troubleshoot equipment problems and perform complex system tests.

COMPENSATION: From $80K to $95K plus an annual bonus up to 5%.
