The Employment Specialist II position involves training, job coaching, supporting, discovering and achieving the personal employment goals of numerous individuals with disabilities and/or disadvantages in the Shakopee/Eden Prairie area. The Employment Specialist II will develop a base of knowledge regarding employment, client and organizational relationships. As a contributing member on the team, this position requires a strong communicator, a flexible team player and a can-do attitude. The Employment Specialist II will regularly communicate with clients, client teams, funders, employers, co-workers and community members as well as closely tracking all employment activity.
Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm with some flexibility for job coaching which may include occasional evenings or weekends.
Starting pay: $21.92 per hour, and may vary depending on experience.
