Responsibilities of the IT Support Specialist:
- Provide technical support to our local and remote employees, addressing technical issues of varying complexity promptly and efficiently.
- Troubleshoot and resolve network connectivity issues.
- Identify and coordinate routine preventative maintenance of all systems.
- Oversee on-boarding and off-boarding of employees including but not limited to: account creation and termination, return of equipment, new hire orientation, etc.
- Serve as liaison between Germany and the US.
- Provide proactive support to a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
Requirements for the Position:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field and a minimum of two years of experience in computer software, hardware, and operating systems; or any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
- SAP experience required
- Experience in manufacturing environment preferred.
- Microsoft Windows and Citrix experience preferred.
- Experience with troubleshooting Apple products (iPhone and iPad) preferred.
- Ability to act with integrity, professionalism and confidentiality.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven experience in delivering engaging presentations in a professional setting.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Time management skills with proven ability to meet deadlines.
