Caregiver
Manos has been providing in-home services for adults and children with developmental disabilities such as: Autism, Cerebral Palsy, Down Syndrome, Developmental Delay, throughout Alameda & Contra Costa County for over 20 years in cities such as Oakland, Berkeley, Richmond, Antioch, Walnut Creek, Livermore, Hayward, Union City and Fremont. Manos serves clients of the Regional Center of the East Bay in the Contra Costa and Alameda Counties.
Our Caregivers primary job is to provide care for the client in their home. This may include and is not limited to the following activities: coaching, mentoring, supervising, training, light meal preparation, assisting with behavior programs, assisting with homework and language programs, and taking walks - as well as any other means of interaction with the client, such as playing board games, reading to each other, or simply conversing. Our DSPs are also responsible for cleaning up after activities or assisting the child/children and or adult in cleanup.
This type of job is best for caring, positive and patient individuals with a desire to work with children and adults with developmental disabilities.
