Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Human Resources Coordinator to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the overall HR function, focusing on recruitment, employee relations, and benefits administration. Responsibilities:
- Assist with recruitment efforts, including job postings, candidate sourcing, and interview coordination
- Manage the onboarding process for new hires, including paperwork, orientation, and benefits enrollment
- Coordinate employee relations, including conflict resolution and maintaining a positive work environment
- Assist with HRIS systems, including ADP and Paylocity, to ensure accurate and timely data entry and reporting
- Administer workers compensation and other benefits, ensuring compliance with OSHA regulations
- Support project management initiatives to ensure HR projects are completed efficiently and effectively
- Source and manage job postings and job descriptions on various platforms
- Monitor and report on HR metrics, including employee turnover, diversity, and inclusion
- Provide general administrative support to the HR department, including answering employee inquiries and maintaining HR records
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
- Conduct employee orientation and provide support for new employee onboarding
- Assist with contract management, including reviewing and negotiating contracts
- Develop and maintain HR policies and procedures
- Conduct HR audits to ensure compliance with company policies and external regulations
- Maintain a high level of confidentiality and discretion in handling sensitive HR information
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field
- Proven experience in human resources management, preferably in a recruitment or HR administrative role
- Knowledge of HRIS systems, including ADP and Paylocity
- Experience with project management principles and practices
- Strong recruitment and sourcing skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and discretion
- Certification in Human Resources (CHRL) or a related field is an asset
- Familiarity with workers compensation and OSHA regulations
- Experience with HR sourcing and contract management is an asset
- Proficiency in MS Office and HR software applications
