Our client, a leading company in the energy sector, is seeking a skilled Instrument Technician to join their growing team. As an Instrument Technician, you will be a vital part of the Maintenance Department, supporting critical plant operations. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented individual with a passion for problem-solving and a strong commitment to safety.
Job Title: Instrument Technician
Location: Houston, TX
Pay Range: $ 35-39/hr
What's the Job?

• Install, calibrate, maintain, and repair a variety of process instrumentation
• Troubleshoot and diagnose instrument malfunctions to ensure optimal plant performance
• Perform preventative maintenance tasks in accordance with established procedures
• Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of all work performed
• Collaborate effectively with other technicians and maintenance personnel

What's Needed?

• Associate's Degree in Instrumentation Technology or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar industrial setting
• Strong understanding of process control principles and instrumentation
• Proficiency in using calibration tools and troubleshooting techniques
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills
