Job Description:
Supply Chain Engineer will be part of a growing Supply Chain Engineering regional organization reporting to Sr Materials Manager. The individual will lead and execute strategic improvements of overall supply chain processes within North America Materials, with focus on New Product Launch and Engineering Changes, along with key supply chain aspects.
GENERAL RESPONISIBILITIES:

• Process ownership of Materials team tasks in order to achieve timely execution and SOP readiness, ensuring new products launch in a desired state while miniminzing change related obsolesence
• Represents the interests of the Materials team functions in New Product Development meetings
• Leading, collaborating, and assisting with process improvements around NPD and championing problem-solving efforts
• Ownership of SAP Master Data Management
• Supply Chain Network Design in collaboration with Global Strategic Sourcing
• Establishment of packaging standards and maintenance
• Definition and optimization of segmentation and inventory strategies within SAP
• Documenting strategies and SOPs detailing process flows

EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION:

• Bachelor's Degree in the field of Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering or Business
• 7-10 years of experience in Supply Chain Engineering or materials management is required
• Prior SAP experience required, with an emphasis on materials management
• Knowledge of BOM (bill of material) management and maintenance preferred
• Experience in driving launch readiness processes
• Prior knowledge of effective Engineering Change Management systems preferred
