What You'll Do:
- Keep Things Running: Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems. Fix minor malfunctions and maintain dock doors.
- Hands-On Work: Take on basic carpentry tasks and assist with office relocations, remodeling, and setting up Audio Visual equipment for special events.
- Safety First: Act as a role model in safe work practices, encouraging others to follow suit. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Team Player: Support warehousing practices by ensuring all supplies are stocked, work areas are tidy, and everyone cleans up after themselves.
- Be Flexible: Pitch in with other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly.
- Education: High School Diploma or G.E.D.
- Experience: At least 1 year of computer experience (Microsoft Office) and a strong track record of punctuality and availability for overtime.
- Preferred: 1 year of leadership experience, 2-4 years in a similar environment (manufacturing, distribution, warehousing, large retail), and experience with performance metrics and process improvement.
