Position Title: Cleaner

Wage: $13.00 - $17.00/hr

Shift: 1 Shift

Hours: 8:00am – 4:00pm

• 8-hour shift
• Holidays
• Weekends as needed
• On call

Our client is seeking a Cleaner to join their team.

As a Cleaner, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of our facilities. This position plays an important role in ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for both employees and visitors.

This is a DIRECT HIRE opportunity!

Responsibilities included but are not limited to:

• Perform general cleaning tasks, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, and other common areas
• Empty trash receptacles and replace liners
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify supervisor when supplies need to be replenished
• Follow established procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment to prevent damage to floors and fixtures
• Perform floor care duties such as buffing, waxing, and polishing - Assist with facilities maintenance tasks as needed

Requirements:

• Previous experience in commercial or industrial cleaning preferred
• Knowledge of custodial practices and procedures
• Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as vacuum cleaners, floor buffers, and carpet cleaners
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain cleanliness standards
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Good time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks
