MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Arizona Elementary Teaching Certificate with General Science, Math, or Computer Science Approved Area
OR

Arizona Middle Grades Teaching Certificate with General Science, Math, or Computer Science Approved Area

OR
Arizona Secondary Teaching Certificate with General Science, Math, or Computer Science Approved Area
OR
Arizona Specialize STEM Education 6-12 Certificate

Current Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS
Demonstrated success in engaging African American and Latino students
Bilingual (Spanish) endorsement
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS AFTER HIRE
Proof of immunity to rubeola (measles) and rubella (German measles), or proof of MMR immunization.

LOCATION: Mansfeld Middle Magnet School - 6th Street & Mountain Area

FTE : 1.0 - 7.5 hours per day

Work Calendar: 9.5 month

Positions less than 30 hours per week are not eligible for district benefits. 

Internal candidates will transfer at a rate commensurate with their bargaining unit language. For more information on salary schedule, please reference the Employee Agreements Webpage. 

New Teachers to the District may be eligible for a one-time recruitment stipend (up to $5,000) if hired into one of the following positions: Ex Ed, Math, Science.

Probationary Contracts will be issued for any contingent Certifications, Positions that are 0.6 FTE or less, and certified employees within their first three years with the District.
