Network SpecialistAnticipated Start Date: July 22, 2024Responsibilities include:•Administer, monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot network servers, firewalls, switches, programs, and systems•Manage server backups, VoIP surveillance and firewall systems•Maintain network security to against viruses, malware, and hackers•Maintain accurate and up-to-date written documentation on district network configurations, topology, systems, and applications•Provide hands-on-support for all school servers and networking equipment•Manage user accounts and network access through AD•Provide hands-on, telephone, and email support to users in multiple locations across the school district•Troubleshoot common computer, software, and A/V problems independently; escalating issues to other IT staff our outside contractors•Bring unusual conditions or situations to the attention of the Technology Director•Provide backup support to other IT staff members as needed•Other duties as assigned
