Sales Engineer – Commercial HVAC

Job Description

If you are a self-motivated Commercial Sales Engineer who is excited about the opportunity to control your income through an uncapped 100% commissioned structure while providing world-class service/ support and representing some of the top HVAC Manufacturers in the industry, then you could be the ideal fit for my client.

Key activities include the development of relationships with major contractors and building owners in a variety of vertical markets including healthcare, higher education, and hospitality markets, developing strategies to enhance market share, and optimizing ROI for all channel partners.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Develop relationships with Chicago's top Commercial Contractors.
  • Serve as the Technical Expert to clients, aiding in the design and selection of a wide variety of HVAC products.
  • Monitoring of competitor activities/market trends.
  • Cross-functional communication with various departments to ensure the best customer experience and consistent achievement of sales targets.
  • Key person for relationship marketing with the customers’ top executives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Technical field preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of successful sales experience
  • Minimum of 3 years of Commercial HVAC sales experience.
  • High-level performer, excellent problem-solver
  • Strong Technical knowledge in all areas of Commercial HVAC
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to Mentor Application Engineers or new Sales personnel
  • Previous experience in or strong desire to work in a 100% commissioned structure.
