Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented SME Reliability/Sustainability Engineer to join our team in the Washington, D.C. This position is fully remote.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• The Reliability/Sustainability Engineer develops, coordinates and conducts technical reliability studies and evaluations of engineering design concepts and design of experiments (DOE) constructs.
• Recommend design or test methods and statistical process control procedures for achieving required levels of system, product or process reliability.
• Compile and analyze performance reports and process control statistics, investigate and analyze relevant variables potentially affecting product, systems and processes.
• Ensure that corrective measures meet acceptable reliability standards.
• Analyze preliminary plans and develop reliability engineering programs to achieve company, customer and governmental agency reliability objectives.
• May develop mathematical models to identify processes posing excessive failure risks.
• Propose changes in design or formulation to improve system and/or process reliability as necessary.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a scientific, engineering or related technical discipline.

Desired Qualifications:

• DHS or DAWIA certifications or equivalent experience in Systems, Planning, Research, Development, Engineering or Test and Evaluation.

Clearance Requirements:

• Must be a U.S. citizen.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain DHS suitability.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%.
• Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer.
• The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
