Job Requirements:
OverviewWork on sheet metal with detailed welding.
Experience working in a precision sheet metal shop assembling, fabricating and welding
Ability to understand oral and written instructions of a technical nature
Effective English reading and writing communication skills
Ability to operate different tools (welders) and troubleshoot equipment problems
Good interpersonal and team work skills
Good skill set on measuring and fitting
Great attitude
Qualifications:Candidate must have previous welding experience
Must have metal fabrication experience
Must have reliable transportation
Candidate must pass drug screen and work in drug free environment
Job Description:Ø Welds metal components together using MIG or TIG Welding methods using a variety of arc and gas welding equipment to fabricate or repair products.
Ø Review print and router to ensure material received for job is correct.
Ø Check router and prints for accuracy of parts.
Ø Positions and clamps together components of fabricated metal products preparatory to welding.
Ø Performs related tasks such as grinding.
Ø Repairs broken or cracked parts, fills holes, and increases size of metal parts.
Ø Complete purchase requisitions for area and submit to office for procurement.
Ø Responsible for maintenance and cleanness of welders.
Ø Fill out applicable router operation completely and accurately.
Ø Train co-workers as necessary to ensure a positive workflow.
Ø Performs set-up inspections, first piece inspections as well as all subsequent inspections as required by AS9100 standards.
Ø Work with Production Supervisor and Safety Manager to ensure the safety of welding area.
Ø Clock in and out of time clock on each operation.
Ø Follow production schedule unless otherwise requested.
Ø Responsible for the general cleaning and area organization on a daily basis.
Ø Hours are Monday through Friday 6:00a.m. to 2:30p.m. Overtime as requested.
