Anticipated Teacher Positions
Qualifications:
- Teaching certificate for elementary grades
- Successful interview
- Present the strongest qualifications
- Possess excitement & energy towards student learning
- Positive team member/collaborator who enjoys working with all
- Plan for instruction of small groups
- Lead an instructional small group in the area of literacy, math or social emotional learning
- Use district approved curriculum
- Track growth for students
- Supervise students during instruction and transition times
- The After School Program will run through the first semester until December 20th (unless additional funding becomes available.)
- Will consider flexibility if needed for this position. For example, hiring several teachers to teach on different days after school if you cannot teach each night.
- 1 hour per day for the after school program. Approximate hours will be 3:45 pm - 4:45 pm (students will go to their enrichment activities at 4:30)
- There will be a total of 30 student slots for K-3 and 30 slots for students in 3rd-5th grade. The afternoon program will be held at Briggs Elementary.
- No sessions on early out Wednesdays or no school days.
- Specific students and number of students may vary each day.
- The positions are for each semester. Following each semester the positions will be reposted and candidates may reapply if interested. Currently this position is until the end of December unless additional funding becomes available.
- Additional support will be provided by para educators and the After School Coordinator.
