Marc Fisher’s IT team is seeking a Senior Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Administrator with a strong focus on project management, software upgrades, and programming capabilities, particularly in SQL.

Our ideal candidate will have strong leadership capabilities to excel in managing complex software upgrade projects, optimizing system performance through advanced programming techniques, and ensuring the operational excellence of our ERP infrastructure.

They will be reporting to the Vice President of ERP and Supply Chain. This role is hybrid, 3 days a week in our Greenwich, CT office, 2 days remote .

Key Functions & Responsibilities:

• End-User Support : Offer comprehensive daily support for the ERP system, promptly addressing queries and troubleshooting to ensure user satisfaction.

• System Monitoring & Optimization: Oversee and enhance the performance of SQL and ERP systems through effective monitoring and scheduled job optimization.

• Data Integrity & Management: Address work in progress (WIP) issues, manage inbound and outbound file discrepancies, and ensure the accuracy of essential data processes.

• Reporting & Customization: Collaborate closely with users to develop and customize reports, improving business decision-making processes.

• Operational Excellence: Ensure the smooth running of Month End processing, business-to-business (B2B) operations, Foreign Trade Zone (FTZ) operations, and manage specific operational files efficiently.

• System Maintenance: Lead the installation of ERP system patches, testing of system updates, and coordination of system downtime for updates, maintaining system integrity and security.

• Project Management: Engage in ad-hoc projects and testing initiatives to meet evolving business needs, ensuring all projects are delivered on time and to specifications.

• Documentation: Develop and maintain documentation for system configurations, processes, and service records.

• Programming: Utilize SQL and other programming languages to develop and optimize stored procedures, triggers, and functions for enhanced system performance. Perform data analysis and create scripts to automate routine tasks, improving efficiency and accuracy.

• Maintenance: Coordinate BC system downtime for monthly Windows updates, ensuring seamless functionality post-update.

Requirements:

• At least 5 years in ERP, PLM, and Supply Chain Management roles, with a preference for candidates experienced with Blue Cherry ERP systems.
• Skills: Proficient in Microsoft SQL Server and Excel, with a solid understanding of database management, analysis, and programming in Access.
• Collaboration: Demonstrated experience working with third-party vendors and managing EDI transactions effectively.
• Soft skills:
• Exceptional problem-solving abilities with a methodical approach to troubleshooting and system analysis.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, capable of engaging with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Highly organized, self-motivated individual with proven time-management skills and the ability to work autonomously.
• Experience: Previous work in footwear, wholesale, or retail sectors is a plus, offering valuable insights into industry-specific challenges.
