Estimating Manager

Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Estimating Manager to join our team. The Estimator will play a crucial role in overseeing and managing the construction estimating process. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in construction estimating, project management, negotiation, and cost control. Proficiency in tools such as Quantum and Construction Management software is highly desirable.

Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the construction estimating process from project inception to completion.
- Price projects accurately and competitively to secure new business opportunities.
- Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers to gather necessary information for estimates.
- Utilize estimating software for precise and detailed cost estimates.
- Ensure cost control measures are implemented throughout the estimating process.
- Collaborate with the construction site team to understand project requirements and constraints.
- Build relationships with vendors and negotiate pricing for materials and services.
- Provide guidance on value engineering options to optimize project costs.

Qualifications:
- Proven experience in construction estimating or related field.
- Strong knowledge of project management principles.
- Proficiency in construction estimating software.
- Excellent negotiation skills with a focus on achieving cost-effective solutions.
- Knowledge of site work a plus
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
