The Operations manager is a key part of the management team. They analyze and improve organizational processes, and work to improve quality, productivity, and efficiency. This position is 100% on site at our Hawthorne, California manufacturing site.
Responsibilities:
- Enforce and follow all company policies while continuously encouraging a culture of ownership, accountability, and sense of urgency with all employees throughout all departments.
- Continually run analyses of labor and process cost vs margin for all product offerings
- Work directly with Order Management to ensure all orders ship on time.
- Continuously improve workflow process with OM to ensure SLA does not exceed 2-3 days with 0 late orders due to manufacturing process.
- Work with HR to review and enforce the Attendance policy.
- Ensure all departments productivity metrics are documented and reviewed with department supervisors to ensure follow-up with employees.
- Approve additional staffing to align with current budget and daily production goals
- Collaborate with senior leadership to approve any outsourced manufacturing work
- Schedule at least 1 one on one meeting with your direct reports monthly to discuss performance and give leadership guidance where necessary.
- Ensure the production floor is clean and always organized with an emphasis on work safety.

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing, business or equivalent experience.
- Bilingual Spanish and English
- 3 years of management in a manufacturing setting
- Strong leadership skills and ability to manage cross-functional team members.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other industry software
