We are currently seeking a Receiving Lead at our Denton Regional Distribution Center located at 165 N I-35 E Ste 141, Denton, TX 76205.As The Receiving Lead , You Will
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of receiving personnel to ensure efficient and accurate receipt of incoming shipments.
- Plan and prioritize daily receiving activities to meet deadlines and operational requirements.
- Oversee the inspection and verification of incoming materials and goods for accuracy, quality, and compliance with purchase orders and specifications.
- Ensure proper handling and storage of received items to prevent damage or loss.
- Coordinate with purchasing and warehouse departments to resolve discrepancies and address issues related to incoming shipments.
- Train and develop receiving staff on proper procedures, safety protocols, and equipment operation.
- Monitor receiving supplies and equipment, and coordinate maintenance and repairs as needed.
- Implement and enforce quality control measures to minimize errors and ensure compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
- Communicate effectively with other departments to coordinate workflow and address any issues or concerns related to incoming shipments.
- Prepare receiving-related reports and documentation as required.
- Stay current with industry trends and developments to identify opportunities for process improvements.
- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Previous experience in receiving, logistics, or warehouse management.
- Proven leadership and supervisory experience.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities.
- Proficiency with receiving software and Microsoft Office suite.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures.
- Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
