Essential Functions

Invoicing

*Collect and Input All Invoices for Department

*Process Vendor Credits

*Reconcile Vendor Accounts

*Vendor Statement Reviews

*Client Contact for All Accounts Payables Questions

*Process Monthly, Semi-Monthly and Weekly Check Runs

*Reconcile Expense Reimbursements

*Maintain Cash Flow Worksheets for Daily Cash Management

*Process Ad-Hoc Manual Checks by Request

Vendor Maintenance

*Keep Accurate Records of Sales Tax Exempt Certificates

*Maintain Vendor W9 Files

*Collect and Retain Vendor Contracts

*Maintain Insurance Policies Declarations and Renewals

Audits

*Process Annual 1099s

*Aid in Audit Requests

*Proper Management of Cancelled Checks

*Collect and Review Board Resolutions for Out of Budget Expenditures

ADHOC

*Perform all Public Records Requests

*Track and Pay Board Stipends for Meeting Attendance

*Monthly Credit Card Reconciliations

*Prepare Semi-Annual Budgets, as requested

*Prepare Financial Statements, as requested

Education & Experience Required

*3 Years of Relative Work Experience or Education

*Knowledge of Accounting and Bookkeeping Best Practices

*Knowledge of Quickbooks and Bill.com preferred

*Must be Able to Effectively Handle Multiple Projects Simultaneously in a Deadline Driven Environment

*Ability to Work Independently and as Part of a Team to Achieve the Goals of the Organization

*Ability to Analyze Processes and Recommend Efficiencies to Implement.

*Computer Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Specifically Excel

*Excellent Verbal & Written Communication Skills
