Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Appliance Service Manager to join our dynamic team. This role is crucial in maintaining our high standards of service and ensuring customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in appliance repair and management, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for delivering top-notch service. The prime candidate must be well-versed in servicing all brands and types of appliances, including high-end luxury appliances, and possess extensive experience with sealed systems.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Oversee Daily Operations: Manage the day-to-day operations of the appliance repair service department.

2. Training and Development: Train new technicians and ensure all technicians are up-to-date with the latest repair techniques and safety protocols.

3. Customer Service: Address customer inquiries and complaints, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.

4. Scheduling: Coordinate and schedule service calls, ensuring optimal use of technician time and resources.

5. Quality Control: Ensure that all repairs meet the company’s standards for quality and reliability.

6. Inventory Management: Oversee the inventory of parts and supplies, ensuring that necessary parts are in stock and properly organized.

7. Compliance and Safety: Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and safety standards.

8. Performance Monitoring: Monitor technician performance, providing feedback and implementing corrective actions as necessary.

9. Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports on department performance, including metrics such as repair times, customer satisfaction, and cost control.

10. Technical Support: Provide technical support to technicians as needed, assisting with complex or difficult repairs.

11. Process Improvement: Continuously look for ways to improve service processes, enhance efficiency, and reduce costs.

12. Team Leadership: Lead and motivate the service team, fostering a positive and productive work environment.

13. Customer Follow-up: Ensure follow-up with customers post-repair to confirm satisfaction and address any further issues.

14. Tool and Equipment Maintenance: Ensure all tools and equipment are properly maintained and in good working order.

15. Service Documentation: Maintain accurate records of all service activities, including work orders, technician notes, and parts used.

16. Technical Updates: Stay current with the latest appliance technologies and repair techniques.

17. Cost Estimation: Provide accurate estimates for repair costs and timelines to customers.

18. Conflict Resolution: Resolve conflicts within the team or with customers promptly and effectively.

19. Marketing and Promotion: Work with the sales and marketing team to promote the repair services and attract new customers.

Qualifications:

Proven experience in appliance repair and service management.

Expertise in servicing all brands and types of appliances.

Extensive experience with high-end luxury appliances and sealed systems.

Strong leadership and team management skills.

Excellent communication and customer service abilities.

Ability to troubleshoot and solve technical issues efficiently.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

At least 5 years of verifiable experience in all of the above qualifications.
