Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage construction projects from start to finish
- Coordinate and schedule subcontractors and suppliers
- Ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and safety standards
- Review and interpret construction plans and blueprints
- Estimate project costs and create budgets
- Procure necessary materials and equipment
- Monitor project progress and make adjustments as needed
- Communicate with clients, architects, and engineers to ensure project specifications are met
- Resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise during construction
Requirements:
- Extensive experience in the construction industry
- Proficient in the use of hand tools and construction equipment
- Knowledge of concrete forming, masonry, plastering, door hanging, glass installation, construction painting, and other relevant skills
- Strong understanding of construction management principles and practices
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans and blueprints
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship
- Valid driver's license
