Maricopa Unified School District is Hiring a School Clerk- Butterflied Elementary Near Maricopa, AZ

TITLE: School ClerkCLASSIFICATION: Non-ExemptGENERAL STATEMENT OF RESPONSIBILITIES: Under general supervision, the clerk will do a variety of moderately difficult clerical work and related work as required and directed by Principal or administrative designee.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: 10-month modified work calendar. Classified Compensation Plan Level 2
REPORTS TO: School Principal or Administrative Designee
Principal Duties, Knowledge And Skills Required
  • Provide confidential administrative support as directed
  • Performs other duties as assigned
  • Knowledge of office equipment and computer hardware and software applications.
  • Knowledge of report preparation and records management principles.
  • Skill in customer service practices.
  • Skill in communicating both orally and in writing.
  • Skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with others.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma and two (2) years office experience OR an equivalent combination of education and experience that provide the required knowledge and skills. Bilingual preferred. Able to perform the following physical requirements of the position with or without reasonable accommodation: critical sensory requirements include general vision, corrected to 20/20, hear or listen in the normal range (corrected) and speak and give directions clearly. Able to walk, sit, stand, kneel, crouch, crawl, reach, lift (exerting force up to 50 pounds).
