QUALIFICATIONS:

Current State of Idaho Registered Nurse designation required. Associate’s degree in nursing required; Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred. Minimum of 1 year supervisory experience required. Minimum of five (5) years clinical experience required. EHR experience required. Keyboarding skills of at least 45 wpm preferred. BLS, ACLS and PALS required or willing to obtain once hired. Demonstrated Microsoft Office, Excel, and PowerPoint proficiency required. Ability to represent Marimn Health and/or perform presentations at organization and community events required.

ADA ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Hearing: within normal limits with or without use of corrective hearing devices.
  • Vision: adequate to read 12-point font with or without use of corrective lenses.
  • Must be able to verbally interact with staff, clients and public.
  • Manual dexterity of hands/fingers for writing, computer input.
  • Able to lift 25-100 lbs. (assist in transfer of patients)
  • Stand 40% of the day.
  • Walking 60% of the day.
  • Pushing 30-100 lbs., (i.e. crash cart, stretcher, or wheelchair)
  • Pulling 25-80 lbs.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Maintains a positive peer relationship and performs as a team player.

  • Responsible in assisting with supervision and assistance with the nursing team in order meet the needs of the patients served.
  • Ensures team productivity and effective utilization of the nursing team.
  • Assists providers in meeting clinical productivity goals.
  • Provides patient care coordination and case management.
  • Ensures timely refill of medications.
  • Ensure timely responses to patient telephone calls.
  • Responsible for assisting the Clinical Nurse Manager and MA/CNA supervisor with scheduling of nursing department using patient centricity and good stewardship.
  • Works closely with the nursing team to make sure all nursing responsibilities and cross cover duties are completed.
  • Meets with Clinical Nurse Manager weekly or as needed, providing monthly updates verbally and in writing as requested.
  • Meets with Nursing Team individually as needed and as a team minimum of once per month.
  • Participates in After-Hours call coverage.
  • Ability to interact with supervisor and direct reports effectively and positively. Involves supervisor in decision-making process.

  • Ensure new staff have all necessary vaccination and ensure a vaccine plan for employees needing vaccinations.
  • Maintains Employee Health records.
  • Monitors and coordinates annual employee health labs and screening including N95 FIT testing.
  • Coordinates and assists with annual employee vaccines.
  • Assists with nursing team schedules, including working in all positions as needed for coverage, including after-hours calls.
  • Records incident reports and presents them to Admin and QI. Discusses directly with the Medical Operations Director.
  • Provides training, orientation, and continuing education to nursing staff in methodology and changes to existing procedures.
  • Maintains competency skills check off for Nursing Team staff in collaboration with QI.
  • Attends and participates in committees and meetings as assigned.
  • Ensures coordination of visit planning, immunization, women’s health (including OB) and tracking systems, patient education information, and referrals.
  • Works 40 hours per week dividing time administratively with patient contact, triage, nurse visits, phone nurse. Fills in as a clinic RN as needed.
  • Communicates regularly with medical providers, behavioral health providers, dental team, and community health team regarding patient concerns during routine visits or follow-up.
  • Monitors quality indicators and conducts/coordinates with MA/CNA supervisor for required QI audits and reviews of program activities.
  • Member of Patient Advocacy Team, promoting effective care and understanding for direct patient concerns.
  • Other duties as assigned.
