Our client is a top Am law firm, seeking an experienced Litigation Attorney with a strong focus on renewable energy. This role can be based in any of our client's offices including: District of Columbia : Washington; Georgia : Atlanta; North Carolina : Charlotte; Colorado : Northglenn; South Carolina : Charleston, Columbia; Texas : Houston; Mississippi : Ridgeland; Alabama : Birmingham, Mobile, Montgomery; Louisiana : Baton Rouge, New Orleans; Tennessee : Chattanooga, Memphis, Nashville; Florida : Jacksonville, Sarasota, Tallahassee, Tampa
Responsibilities:
This role involves providing expert legal counsel to clients regarding various renewable energy projects, specifically focusing on facilities operations and power purchase agreements.
Qualifications:
- Preferred knowledge includes wind, solar, hydroelectric and fuel cell facilities, smart grid, energy storage, as well as energy efficiency and demand-side management.
- The ideal candidate should possess 10 years of relevant experience and a sustainable book of business, an excellent commitment to client service, collaborative interpersonal skills, and outstanding communication abilities.
- A Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school and active bar membership are required.
All candidates must be authorized to practice in the U.S.
