For over 50 years, Marine Repair Services-Container Maintenance Corporation has provided an array of customer programs including depot services, equipment sales, trucking, refrigerated services, and maintenance and repair with the nation’s largest M&R footprint. MRS-CMC is heavily invested in both Marine and Rail sectors. With a focus on family values, safety and customer service, MRS-CMC currently has depots in 12 cities throughout the Southeast and Gulf regions and over 40 Maintenance and Repair sites throughout the Northeast, Southeast, Southern and Gulf regions.

Due to growth and expansion, we are currently searching for an Operations Supervisor to join our team. This position will be headquartered at our office in Mobile, Alabama. As an Operations Supervisor, ay a pivotal role in supporting workflow, managing parts purchasing, and ensuring the smooth operation of our depot.. The ideal candidate will possess leadership skills, organizational skills, problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and they will possess a technical proficiency.

Responsibilities:

Your responsibilities will include:

· Manage gate operations and administrative tasks efficiently and effectively.

· Oversee maintenance and repair (M&R) functions to ensure timely and quality service.

· Support overall depot operations, including parts purchasing and inventory management.

· Act as the second-in-command to the General Manager in their absence.

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize processes and improve efficiency.

· Uphold safety standards and compliance regulations at all times.

· Other responsibilities as assigned by management.

Requirements:

To excel in this role, you will need:

· Bachelor's degree preferred, but relevant work experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.

· Strong organizational and multitasking skills with a keen attention to detail.

· Excellent communication and leadership abilities.

· Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.

· Experience in operations or the intermodal industry is a plus.

· A proactive and solution-oriented mindset with a commitment to continuous improvement.
