_ POSITION_ : LOGISTICS SPECIALIST
Location: Panama City, FL Job Status: Full-time
Background: Marine Systems Corporation (MSCorp) is supporting a shipbuilding program requiring logistics support

Potential Responsibilities & Duties

 Assist in the development and review of technical manuals for shipboard systems
 Track and report status of configuration items and ILS deliverables
 Review subcontractor deliverables for technical compliance
 Assist in drafting materials for Government reviews
 Create and maintain detailed schedules and tracking matrices to support purchasing, logistic and construction ordering milestones
 Work with Design Leads to ensure action items and USCG deliverables are being identified, assigned, worked, and resolved in accordance with Contract requirements
 Responsible for Provisioning o Perform provisioning efforts in preparing logistics support documentation on new and revised systems and equipment installs o Research drawings and technical manuals for supply support requirements for Engineering Data for Provisioning

 Other duties requested by the shipbuilder

Required Qualifications/Knowledge/Experience

 Very strong computer skills, particularly MS Word and Excel
 Experience in review and development of US Navy or USCG technical manuals
 Experience with ICAPS, PowerLog J, SLICWAVE or other provisioning software
 Ability to communicate and interact with staff (at all levels) with a high level of professionalism
 Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills
 Must be well-organized and flexible with strong decision-making ability and attention to detail
 Must be able to work with very little oversight (supervisor is offsite)
