Mariner is Hiring a Business Development - Warehousing and Fulfillment Near Coppell, TX

Position PurposeThis Business Development position reports directly to the Chief Supply Chain Officer or Chief Warehousing & Fulfillment Officer and works together with the management team towards fostering better business success for the organization. This position entails expanding the company’s business across work environments and sectors by selling professional Warehousing and Fulfillment services. This Business Development resource must emphasize on the need for the organization to record positive changes and experience profit growth in its dealings.
Position Responsibilities
  • Develop networks towards sourcing for new clients.
  • Establish, develop, and maintain positive business and customer relationships.
  • Effectively coordinate sales efforts with team members and other cross-functional departments.
  • Analyze territory and market potential, track / manage sales, and status reports.
  • Work independently with minimal supervision on customers’ needs.
  • Identify and develop resources relevant to business development and sales goals.
  • Sell the ideals and services of our operational capabilities, strategies and vision.
  • Liaise with team members to ensure top level client experience in all cases of client interactions from follow up to delivery and needs assessment.
  • Attract, as well as retain clients by developing highly creative and quality solutions.
  • Partner and work effectively with marketing team in the organization.
  • Work in line with the operational procedures of the organization towards its revenue generation and sales growth goals.
  • Support organizational effectiveness, management development, and leadership development of the organization towards improving the core content of the company.
  • Other duties as assigned
Position Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in sales related fields of study.
  • 7 years’ experience in client relationship management, professional services, business development, including B2B/B2C sales.
  • Proven successful work experience as a sales representative.
  • Ability to build productive business professional relationships.
  • Excellent selling, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience and business scope.
  • Relationship management skills and openness to constructive feedback.
  • Highly motivated and target driven with a proven track record in sales success.
  • Strong leadership and relationship management capability.
  • Ability to grow and maintain relationship with any individual, irrespective of the background and type of personality.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work with recent technological applications relating to daily tasks.
  • Strong detail-orientation and top-level self-organization.
  • Ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Possess reliable problem-solving ability.
