Responsibilities
- Support the internal diligence and execution of M&A advisory transactions
- Evaluate acquisition opportunities, assess synergies, create proforma financial statements, analyze financial data, guide investment valuation, and create a process for post-close analysis
- Conduct analysis and deliver presentations of competitive landscape, and trends to identify patterns, opportunities, and gaps
- Evaluate financial results and Key Performance Indicators for use in company decision-making
- Present key findings from the review of confidential information memorandums, diligence files and other materials in a succinct manner
- Assist with building strong relationships with bankers during the diligence process
- Special projects to support the deal life cycle
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, or related field
- 1-3 years of industry experience, investment banking, private equity, M&A, or related field
Skills & Experience
- Demonstrated strong quantitative, analytical, and research skills; ability to ramp up quickly on subject matter and synthesize salient information into succinct verbal and written communication with bankers
- Strong experience in Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Exceptional work ethic that can accommodate a demanding profession
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Highly organized with the ability to multi-task
- Good team player with the ability to work under pressure
