Mariners Holdings LLC is Hiring a Senior Analyst, Manager Research Near Overland Park, KS

We are looking for a Senior Analyst, Manager Research to join our Investment Management Team. The position will serve as in-house expert on mutual funds/ETFs/MWA models, supporting advisor inquiries as needed.
Responsibilities
Research and Platform Maintenance
- Perform sourcing, researching, monitoring, and making recommendations on investment strategies.
- Contribute to the development of the overall Investment Management Group function, improving methods and tools utilized.
- Provide reports from Bloomberg, eVestment, Morningstar, Zephyr, FIRM and other analytical tools.
- Develop and generate monthly/quarterly reporting packages as required.
- Communicate with investment managers to evaluate investment philosophy, process, personnel and performance.
- Extract and interpret both quantitative and qualitative data to help drive decision making.
- Create and maintain detailed due diligence reports and document ongoing monitoring of investment managers.
- Use Zephyr, Morningstar Direct, and other analysis tools to assist in investment strategy due diligence.
- Ad hoc tasks, special projects and other duties as required.
Communication
- Participate in creation of agenda and preparation of materials for investment committee meetings.
- Develop and present research findings to our investment committee, advisors and others as needed.
- Serve as in-house expert on mutual funds/ETFs/MWA models, supporting advisor inquiries as needed.
- Attend and present at some client investment reviews as needed.
Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree in business-related field required
- A minimum of 5 years of related experience
- CFA required
- Progress toward or completion of MBA and/or other relevant professional qualifications a plus
- Investment or retirement plan-related experience in a professional office environment a plus
Skills and Knowledge
- Analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite
- Ability to multi-task, manage workload, and complete projects on time
