Marinette Primary School is seeking an Educational Associate (EA) to join our Marine Team! The position is part-time and will be responsible for supporting and assisting classroom teacher(s) to meet the personal and academic needs of students. Position offers 5.75 hours per day, 9:15am - 3:00pm.

Responsibilities Include:

• Assist in implementing set lesson plans in all academic areas as directed by the classroom teacher(s) in individual, cooperative, small and large group settings on a daily basis.
• Facilitates in the supervision and classroom management of all students as directed by the regular classroom teacher(s) at all times during the school day.
• Assist the regular classroom teacher(s) in preparing the classroom, materials, and equipment for use in specific instructional programs.
• Locates, researches, duplicates, copies, constructs, files, laminates, types, designs, colors, cuts, draws, glues and organizes instructional materials.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma
• Knowledge of child growth and development
• Ability to enunciate clearly and communicate positively throughout the work day
• Knowledge of the teaching-learning process
• Ability to work with people of various personality types
• Current lifeguard certification preferred, or willingness to obtain certification.
• Meet one of the following Hiring Requirements:
• 1. Possess an Associates Degree
• 2. Completion of a minimum of 2 years post-secondary education, or
• 3. Taken and received a passing score on one of the DPI-approved assessments (WorkKeys ACT, Parapro-Assessment ETS or ParaEducator Master Teacher)
