Job Summary:
The School of Communication & The Arts invites applications for Part-Time Faculty, Music for the 2024-2025 academic year. Opportunities to teach multiple/additional courses may become available. Successful candidates will teach, develop course materials, assist students as needed, and assess student work.
Minimum Qualifications:
Masters or Bachelors degree in an appropriate field, and/or Industry/professional experience. Previous college level teaching experience needed.
Essential Functions:
Opportunities are available to teach in one or more areas across several disciplines over time. Teaching opportunities include undergraduate courses that may be available in both on-ground and online environments. Availability to teach during daytime hours is desired.

About the Department/School:
The Marist College Music Program offers a minor in Music with both instrumental and vocal tracks. Primarily a performance-based program, the Music Program is home to over 400 (non-major) students who participate in any of our 19 performing ensembles or enroll in a variety of courses in music theory and history. From applied study in voice, piano, brass, woodwinds, percussion, or strings, to researching the lives and works of composers, the Marist student finds an atmosphere of individual care and attention to personal growth.
