Position: Manufacturing Operations and Supply Chain Manager
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Manufacturing Operations and Supply Chain Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in optimizing our manufacturing operations, ensuring compliance with AS9100 standards, and managing the supply chain efficiently. Tasked with the responsibility to bring Maritech into industry 4.0, proposal planning, and project management to allow for enhanced revenue growth.
Responsibilities:
Manufacturing Operations:
Oversee day-to-day manufacturing operations, ensuring adherence to AS9100 standards.
Implement and maintain continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and quality.
Collaborate with production teams to optimize workflows and meet production targets.
Supply Chain Management:
Develop and execute strategic plans for the supply chain, ensuring timely and cost-effective procurement of materials.
Manage relationships with suppliers, negotiating contracts and terms to optimize cost and quality.
Monitor inventory levels, lead times, and logistics to maintain a smooth and reliable supply chain.
Outsourcing Management:
Ensure that all suppliers are meeting required manufacturing processes and procedures to comply with customer standards and schedule.
Lead internal and external audits, addressing any non-conformances and driving continuous improvement.
Bids and Proposals:
Participate in the bidding process, providing input on manufacturing capabilities, timelines, and cost estimations.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop competitive proposals for new projects.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.
Proven experience in manufacturing operations, supply chain management, and AS9100 compliance.
Strong knowledge of machining processes, materials, and aerospace industry standards.
Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
Ability to analyze data, identify areas for improvement, and implement effective solutions.
Familiarity with ERP systems and other manufacturing software.
