Mark III Construction is seeking a Journeyman Plumber for work on commercial / industrial projects in Bakersfield for a temporary job June - November.

Plumbers will perform tasks associated with the assembly and installation of pipes, fixtures, and other plumbing used for water distribution and wastewater disposal.

Requirements

• Five (5) years of commercial / industrial plumbing experience or a combination of field experience and education in the trade.
• Must be able to read and understand construction documents and schedules
• Understands the entire scope of the job
• Able to manage portions of projects and be the right hand to the Foreman
• Capable of forecasting tasks and materials
• Must be knowledgeable of relevant codes and regulations
• Capable of doing basic take offs
• Able to prepare equipment and tool lists
• Experience working on large complex projects
• Certification in the operation of equipment and / or in other pertinent areas is a plus
• Ability to take initiative and be self sufficient
• Safety focused at all times
• Possess leadership and mentorship skills
• Must have a valid driver’s license, a clean driving record, and reliable transportation
• Able to collaborate with other trades and have the Power of One mindset

Hourly Wage : $20 / Hour - $40 / Hour DOE
