The Role :
The Hot Melt Ink Production Cell Operator is a member of a production team striving to provide quality products and services that exceed our customers expectations.
In this role youll have an opportunity to contribute as part of the ink manufacturing team- utilizing standard procedures for product packing, assembly, manufacturing, raw material handling, mixing, equipment operation and safety requirements.
Job Responsibilities :
- Execute manufacturing operations according to standards (SOPs) and job safety requirements
- Operate production line machinery and computers
- Perform equipment changeovers as required
- Operate forklift to maintain raw material supply for the production line
- Complete daily production logs and required reporting
- Perform preventative maintenance on production line machinery as required
- May generate, collect, move and store hazardous waste or prepare document(s) related to hazardous waste management. May assist loading of hazardous wastes onto transporter trucks
- Proposes any identified improvement in the activity scope
- Maintain material supply level adhering to just in time manufacturing principles
- Frequent standing, kneeling, bending and / or lifting. Pulling up to 50 lbs
Job Requirements :
- High School Diploma or GED
- Ability to read and write as well as follow written instructions
- Good hand eye coordination and dexterity
- Good vision and ability to distinguish between color
2nd Shift Hours : Monday - Friday , 2 : 00 pm - 10 : 30 pm
