The Role

Organizational Impact

As a member of the Creative Team, the Designer will report to a Creative Director and collaborate with the other members of the team - including Art Directors, Designers, Writers, and the Group Creative Director - to create meaningful and effective work for food, beverage, supplement, pet, and ingredient clients in B2B and B2C industries. MarketPlace cultivates an environment of collaboration and empowerment, in which the Designer will collaborate frequently with the Account, Strategy, Media, and Research teams.

Accountabilities

• Design
• Design for all media, including print and digital.
• Contribute to the creation of visual assets including logos, typography, color palettes, imagery, and compositions, under the guidance of a Creative or Art Director.
• Turn feedback into even better work.
• Production
• Produce print- and web-ready work, sometimes alone, or in coordination with the Production Designer dependent upon the project.
• Channel-Specific Best Practices
• Seek knowledge of the media formats and channels that impact your work, including social media graphics, digital ads, white paper layout, landing page design, trade show graphics, etc.
• Create thoughtful and channel-appropriate design assets.
• Stay updated on channel-specific best practices and implement them within deliverables.
