Description:

Markon is looking for a Staff Officer to support one of our Intelligence Community customers.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate administrative activities to support team members, including scheduling meetings and managing calendars
  • Communicate daily action status and programmatic issues with clients and stakeholders
  • Coordinate and prepare staffing packages for review/approval
  • Create and submit status reports
  • Assist in the preparation and distribution of reports and presentations
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, files, and databases related to program activities and resources
  • Serve as a point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, addressing inquiries and providing assistance as needed
  • Assist in the procurement of supplies, equipment, and services required for project implementation
  • Support the organization and coordination of meetings, workshops, and events
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives and standard operating procedures to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of project management operations
  • Serve as trusted agent to perform secure and timely transfer of classified digital media
  • Perform other administrative tasks and duties as assigned by management
Job Requirements:


Required:

  • TS/SCI clearance with CI Polygraph
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, project management, or a related field preferred
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
  • Highly skilled in customer service and diverse stakeholder engagement
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as a part of a team in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Solid organizational skills, including multitasking and time-management
  • Exceptional verbal and written skills, with the ability to interact effectively with internal and external stakeholders
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping and documentation
  • Adaptability and willingness to learn new skills and technologies as needed

Desired:

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM)
