Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and provide excellent customer service
-can communicate with insurance and extended warranty company to get repair work approval as work requires
-Ability to learn new processes and workk softwares
- Listen to customers' concerns and accurately document them
- Schedule appointments and manage the service department's calendar
- Provide estimates for automotive repairs and services
- Communicate with technicians to ensure timely completion of repairs
- Keep customers informed about the status of their vehicles
- Process payments and handle financial transactions
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions
-Perform other duties as required and as need arise
Requirements:
- Previous experience in the automotive industry, preferably as a service writer or in a related role
- Knowledge of auto body repair, automotive sales, oil changes, suspension and alignment, air brakes, shocks and struts, brake repair, tire service, and transmission repairs
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Attention to detail and accuracy in record keeping
- Proficiency in computer systems and software used for scheduling and invoicing

Summary
