Job Scope
The Production Supervisor leads the daily workflow in their respective manufacturing cell, oversees the production process, achieves quality and production objectives, and ensures compliance with Quality System requirements and International Organization for Standardization (ISO). They promote World-Class Manufacturing while emphasizing an environment which fosters teamwork, administers reports and documentation, drives support of Company policies and procedures, maintains good housekeeping through 5S concepts, and enforces all safety rules.
Swing Shift 3:00pm - 1:30am PST
Responsibilities

• Ensures on time delivery by effectively managing throughput, productivity, and staffing level
• Ensures employees are trained on applicable SOPs and WIs, cell processes are understood/followed
• Promotes continuous process improvement activities, identify constraints and devises mitigation plans to eliminate bottlenecks
• Collaborates w/ Engineers to standardize processes, maintain smooth workflow within the cell
• Provides employees with training and tools needed to improve efficiency and productivity
• Works proactively with other cells, provides support to ensure customer needs are met
• Builds productive working relationships with internal/external partners
• Supports new product introduction activities to ensure new products are brought online smoothly and efficiently
• Performs time and attendance tasks for assigned employees including maintaining attendance records, approving timecards and time off requests
• Executes timely completion of annual performance reviews including completing employee scorecards, following up on progress with one-on-one with each employee, and revising and/or adjusting goals as necessary
• Performs coaching and disciplinary activities
• Ensures direct reporting employees understand and follow safety guidelines

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and/or 3-5 years of work experience
• Ability to motivate others
• Excellent organizational skills
• Extensive knowledge of MS Office
• Demonstrated accountability/time management, follow through with commitments and deadlines
• Ability to read and speak English sufficiently
• Knowledge of MRP system, SAP experience a plus
• Self-motivated
• Extensive knowledge of Lean Manufacturing
• Reliable, dependable, honest
• Experience working in regulated environment
