Marquette Heights Apts is Hiring a Maintenance Technician Near Colorado, CO
Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in residential painting, electrical systems, mechanical maintenance, sweat welding and minor plumbing is a must. If you have a strong technical background and enjoy working in a dynamic environment, we encourage you to apply.
Duties:
- Conduct routine maintenance tasks such as painting, plumbing repairs, and HVAC system checks
- Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues using schematics and logic controllers
- Perform equipment inspections and identify maintenance needs
- Supervise maintenance staff when needed
- Fabricate parts or tools as required for repairs
- Ensure all work meets safety standards and regulations
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in electrical systems, including the ability to use an ohmmeter
- Strong leadership skills to guide maintenance team members effectively
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
- Experience with maintaining and repairing various equipment and machinery
- Knowledge of fabricating parts for maintenance purposes
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Experience with logic controllers
- Previous experience in residential painting
- Familiarity with supervising maintenance projects
