Simply put, as the Assistant Food and Nutrition Director , you will partner with the Certified Dietary Manager and team to ensure that quality, nutritional meals are provided daily, while maintaining a clean and safe environment. In this position, you may be responsible for a small amount of cooking. This postion is Full Time Friday - Tuesday. With a starting wage of $56,000/yr. You will work to ensure you have a strong team working in the correct positions for a smoothly run kitchen. In addition, you will have delegated tasks for the ordering of inventory, learning how to manage the budget and ensuring menu compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience in food preparation in a supervisory role
• Experience as a Lead Chef, Cook in a Long-Term Care, Assisted Living, Retirement facility or other type of healthcare facility is preferred.
• An opportunity to continue your education and obtain your Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) may be available with continued employment.
