As a Marketing Data Analyst, your collaboration with our Chief Marketing Officer will be pivotal in ensuring Marquis Who’s Who achieves top-notch marketing performance. We seek a candidate with analytical prowess, meticulous attention to detail, and a knack for meeting tight deadlines effortlessly. Your expertise should encompass data validation, configurations, and a deep business and professional environment understanding.

Job Summary:

As a Marketing Data Analyst at Marquis Who’s Who, you'll oversee lead management, marketing performance reporting, and data formatting and review. You'll also take charge of direct mail marketing deliverables. This role requires keen attention to detail and analytical skills, involving understanding customer data, identifying requirements, and ensuring data integrity. A solid grasp of marketing principles, data analysis, and technological proficiency is essential to aid our marketing operations and business endeavors. Ideal candidates will have a strong understanding of the professional landscape, including hierarchies and career development, and understand this role is not creatively focused.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Oversee lead management, encompassing data formatting, research, and review to guarantee qualification and accuracy.
  • Validate data configurations to align with the business strategy and plan.
  • Monitor lead flow and promptly notify the CMO of potential slowdowns or quality concerns.
  • Regularly update and refine sales lead banks, eliminating outdated or ineffective data to prioritize high-quality leads for the sales team.
  • Assist in monthly sales team training sessions by providing training leads and constructing new, highly effective lead banks.
  • Manage vendor relationships, handle invoicing, and compile performance reports.
  • Maintain reports tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) and offer actionable insights to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with team members and external vendors to optimize performance and meet deliverables.
  • Oversee data governance and compliance efforts.
  • Handle, review, and format all direct mail data.
  • Research potential direct mail data sources, request and monitor availability, pricing, and performance.
  • Manage production timelines for direct mail, approve proofs, and track delivery.
  • Generate data files for retargeting initiatives.
  • Provide backup and assistance to the Marketing Manager as needed by undergoing cross-training.

 Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • A strong understanding of the business/professional landscape especially professional hierarchies and career development
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in an analyst type role with a strong focus on project management and data analysis
  • Strong analytical, verbal, and written communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to connect business processes to data outputs
  • Proven time management skills
  • Well organized, detail-oriented with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines while managing multiple concurrent tasks
  • Must possess a high level of proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
  • Strong work ethic and willingness to take ownership
  • Ability to work independently
  • Ad-hoc responsibilities as assigned
  • Demonstrated analytical and decision-making skills
