Marriott Knoxville Downtown is Hiring an Assistant Food and Beverage Director Near Knoxville, TN

Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage all aspects of food service operations, including menu planning, food preparation, and service delivery.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain high standards of cleanliness and sanitation.
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and improve overall dining experience.
- Train, supervise, and evaluate food service staff to ensure efficient and effective performance.
- Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and manage food costs to meet budgetary requirements.
- Collaborate with other departments to coordinate special events, banquets, and catering services.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to continuously improve food service operations.

Requirements:
- Proven experience in a similar role within the food industry, preferably in a hotel or banquet setting.
- Strong knowledge of food handling procedures and safety regulations.
- Excellent leadership and supervisory skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Proficient in using POS (Point of Sale) systems for order processing and inventory management.
- Ability to effectively communicate with staff, customers, and vendors.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
